Love him or hate him, there is no denying, between his solo material and his run with the Jackson 5, the guy was involved in a lot of great tunes.
I have been going through his play list and at times I am greatly moved by the memories --his songs are like place markers for different points throughout my life.
For all the times I made fun of him over the years since the late 80's, I am a bit shocked that I feel so sad at his passing.

Sad and shocking news, a major icon for so many in the 80's and 90's, thanks for putting up those great videos Bobby.
I also made my share of jokes despite the fact that I would have killed for one of those zipper jackets when I was 7. Imagine what your life would be like if by that age, you had accomplished more than 99% of the people on the planet spent their life working towards...now what? I can't believe how good he was in his late 40s!
